LEGAL OPINION LETTERS and AFFIDAVITS  OPINION LETTER: In many instances, a vaccine exemption client will benefit from a personalized Legal Opinion Letter written by an attorney that documents the client's legal exemption rights under applicable law. This can be given to give to the local school official, health department, college, healthcare professional, employer, or other person who needs documented proof of the client's legal exemption claim and status. Legal Opinion Letters may cite state and/or federal statutes and regulations, and relevant sections of state and federal constitutions. They also cite federal legal precedent supporting the client's right to exercise a legal exemption under the specific facts and circumstances of the client's life. A typical letter is between one and two pages in length. AFFIDAVIT: Overseas adoption and adult immigration clients require an affidavit to obtain a waiver from the immunization requirements. These are personalized to fit the client's specific situation and needs, and may be accompanied by a cover letter that cites applicable law.
